7 day detox diet


The purpose of the seven-day detox diet is cleansing the body from accumulated toxins in it. This diet is the result of understanding that our body is exposed to the harmful action of toxins entering into it with chemicals in foods and from environmental pollution. Detoxification diet lasts 7 days, and during the first days are allowed to eat only raw fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as the need to drink plenty of water.

Nutritional Supplements

During the seven-day detoxification diet you need to take nutritional supplements. This is not a requirement, but an important condition for the best passages of the process of detoxification. Recommended dietary supplements should include natural ingredients such as fennel, flaxseed oil, and senna. It is believed that these ingredients absorb toxins in the colon and help bring them out of the body.

What can I eat?

For the process of detoxification is very important in first 3 days of detoxification diets. Thus, in these 3 days is recommended to only drink water and eat fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables should be eaten in their raw state to preserve the vitamins and minerals to help cleanse the body. On the fourth day, you can also add cooked or baked vegetables and brown rice, and then allowed to slowly enter into the diet of dairy products and fish. And every day, definitely need to drink at least 8 large glasses of water.

The use of the diet.

Although there is little scientific evidence that detoxification program really benefit those who are practicing this method claim that a significant benefit for overall health, of course, there is. The positive effects include strengthening the immune system, reducing the need for sugar, cleanse blood of toxins, losing weight and improving the appearance of the eyes, skin and hair.
